First Seth and the boys appeared on NBC news with anchor, Whitney.

After that it was over to KUSI news.

Then Seth gave the HDHR low down to listener's of 91 X Radio.

Then on Saturday September 24th, Seth headed up to Bear to judge the main event. In the end Seth and the esteemed judging panel awarded the $10,000 win to crowd favorite (and Seth's Giro teammate) Ryan Paul.

Last Saturday the 8th Annual HDHR went off at Bear Mountain. If you missed the live webcast on Snowboarder, both the Snowboarder crew and Transworld did full recaps for you to check out:

In order to create added hype around the event, JP and Clayton from Bear as well as fellow HDHR judges Seth Huot and Joe Sexton did a media tour. They kicked the media visits off at NBC news where the guys spoke to Whitney the anchor.

From there JP headed over to KUSI for a chat with Alexis.

Quick Stop At Radio 91X

JP and Joe do a quick interview with Hondo from Transworld.

And to wrap up the event on Sunday, JP joined forces with Joe, Allie and Snowboarder's T-Bird in the Burnt Dawg Golf Classic.

Camp of ChampionsLook at how much fun you missed up on the glacier this summer. Launch Gallery »
When you were still just a wee grom, did you ever have that friend who was lucky enough to get given the golden ticket into camp? We’re not talking band camp, space camp, or even rock-n-roll fantasy camp — we’re talking Camp of Champions? Were you jealous that they got to hang out with all the pros and learn all the latest tricks? Did you wait all fall, expecting this so-called friend to start busting out double corks once the snow started falling?
Then again, perhaps you were one of the ones who would find work at camp, maybe volunteering — or maybe you lucked out and got a paying job as a digger, a cook, or even security. Whatever your story was (or is), there remains one common factor: You came to camp to ride. For about four weeks in July of every year, Whistler is overrun with shreds coming down off the glacier, draining their boots (from the pow turns, not rain), grabbing their other deck to skate at the compound, go paint-balling, you name it. If you’ve never done it before, take a couple minutes out to scroll through this gallery and imagine how good life can be for a summer shred. Launch Gallery »

Handplant Central
After a week of insanity from July 26th – August 2nd High Cascade Snowboard Camp Session 5 is a wrap. Seth spent the session getting inverted (handplant style) in the pipe and making the campers’ experience all time. He also participated in some gnarly games of dodgeball, got after some Cobra Dogs and skated.
Check out JP’s “Don’s Dispatch” from Hood for some more words/pics of Seth: http://fresh.snowboardermag.com/feature/the-dons-dispatch-jp-walker-1-1-mt-hood/
Here’s a couple more shots from the Session:

A few weeks ago, Pro Snowboarder and DBOT5 lifestyle golfer Stevie Bell spent some uber-exciting time out in the luscious lands of California getting a taste of Spy’s 8th Annual Summer Bootcamp!
Very much in Stevie style, he was seen exerting what appears to be a lifetime amount of endless energy surfing, wakeboarding and riding moto. It’s kinda exhausting just watching Stevie. We’re pretty sure he may be part robot…but we’ll have to get back to you on that one. (Research in progress.) Take a peek at some pictures of Stevie, making his way through the bootcamp madness!

Spy’s Summer Bootcamp is a sort-of fantasy retail contest which gives nine of their lucky retailers the chance to experience what the real California dream is all about! The five days of events take place right in Spy’s backyard, alongside Spy’s pro athletes. DBOT5 is super proud that our man Stevie had the chance to give us a look in side his adventures with Spy. The Bootcamp 8 crew also got to check out the Summer X Games for a day as well as hit up the “Fantasy Factory” for a Monster party with skateboarder Rob Dyrdek. With snow already falling in the Salt Lake area, DBOT’s Stevie Bell has backside 180 nose presses on the brain. Thankfully Stevie had a pretty packed pre-season so he won’t be rusty when he drops into his first double kink rails of the 2009-2010 season.
On June 22nd Stevie headed for Camp of Champions Snowboard Camp in Whistler, BC. Stevie and the rest of the Forum crew spent a week during their “Send It With” session hitting up the rail gardens and summer slush booters on the Blackcomb glacier. They also swung some clubs, skated the mini ramp and had a crazy dodge ball session during the after camp activities with their fans — the campers. In an interview for the COC website one camper called Stevie his favorite pro shred.
Later in the summer Stevie rode at Windell’s Snowboard Camp at Mount Hood, OR. On the 2nd of August the adult campers along with Stevie and some of the coaches got to hit up a Portland sushi joint for “Sushi with Stevie.” Since this was part of the adult camp sushi and sake bombs were downed.

Stevie and a lovely shred lady at Windell's
Anyone who has been to snowboard camp will tell you that contests are what it’s all about but usually the contests are for campers only. I guess Stevie and some of the other pros were jealous so they put on their own contest, a game of S.K.A.T.E. Out in BOB (building out back) a.k.a. Windell’s skate park. Stevie threw down some smooth tricks against the likes of JP Walker, MFM and Joe Sexton.
Fast forward to September 11th, yes 9/11. The World Premier of Forum “Forever” was screened in San Diego. This years’ Forum team video captures some super stylish moves from Stevie, in particular a couple of epic wall rides.
If you missed the premier of “Forever” fear not the video is currently on tour in North America. If you missed the tour in your town there’s still hope; you can download it from itunes. Just be aware that you’ll miss out on Stevie’s antics and hilarious personality (as pictured below).

Get ready boys and girls because winter is just around the corner.
